Apicella + Bunton completed a design for the headquarters of a financial company in Fairfield County, Connecticut. The 160-foot tall structure includes seven floors of class A office space and four floors of indoor parking. The integration of methods of sustainability was critical to the design process. With the goal of achieving LEED platinum certification, the building contains a high performance enclosure and planted roofs to maximize the use of storm water and to mitigate urban heat island effects.
